In My Area..the Bottom has dropped outta the overheated Real Estate market! My R.E. Agent sezz nobody has called for many weeks about property in our price range. As far as jobs, there are many jobs in lower wage categorities, but precious few in the higher wage category. Lottsa "Help Wanted" signs in convenience stores & restaraunts, etcetc. Still a lotta construction going on 4 now..but soon as everybody's current projects get completed....well, glad I don't work construction anymore! Many folks are surviving on welfare,retirement form elsewhere, savings, gummint job paychex, etcetc. Many of the Next Generation are leaving..never to return! Sad, but that is the way it is here. **@&#^Yuppies have invaded & priced the land far too high 4 locals to be able to afford to live here!! Oh, well, like I always say...."aadticdai" CC, who is sad that they are ruining my area!!
