I had some work done at a local massey dealer and stopped in to check on the tractor, when there I picked-up a 2.5 gallon of Agco 80w-90 and asked him to add it to my final bill.
It appears I was overcharged a great deal for the oil, but before I go in there and raise a stink I was wondering what the going rate is for gear oil from Agco. Maybe they aren't interested in selling oil and have it priced so nobody will buy it. I know that sounds ridiculous but for what they charged me nobody would ever buy gear oil from him again.
I usually buy 80W90 from the NewHolland guy near my farm and it runs about $31.00 per 2.5 gal jug.
Thanks for any help, always appreciated....
PS: Please, Please send rain to Kentucky. Nobody has enought hay for make it through the winter and the stockyards are FULL with cattle, prices are dropping.
