Look around, I know of a couple local Echo dealers in my area that will service their product, we have very good luck with both the saws and string trimmers. Echo used to make John Deere stuff until they found someone else that could make them cheaper in the mid 90's. They also make the engine for the Mantis tiller.
They are a good unit, alot better than diehard followers of another brand would like to admit.
