we've got 3 class 8s on the road everyday - 2 freightliners, 1 international
right about the time of the ULSD switch, we had 1 truck that the rubber feed lines from the tank to the filter/fuel pump/engine deteriorated internally and collapsed, starving the engine of fuel. we cleaned rubber particles out of the fuel system for 2 weeks. the repair bill combined with lost revenue nearly killed us. my truck lost all the injector Orings and 1 injector the same week as the fuel line problem on the other truck. the Orings were definitely ULSD related and i think the rubber lines came apart because of it as well.
