We did a bag 2 years ago and it worked out great for us. The neighbors mostly use either bunkers or pack it in piles like that, but the amount of waste they get is unreal. Some tarp and cover, others don't, so it's not just that they don't cover it or that they don't pack it tight.
With the bag there was NO waste. Period. Just for that it's gotta be worth something.
We haven't had any troubles with mice chewing on bags (or other varmints) so we're not really concerned. We went with a 150' bag as opposed to a 200' bag which costs about another $200-250.
