Is that a Hesston or a Gehl? Looks too bright for a Hesston but too dark for a Gehl in the pic. If I had to venture a guess though, I'd say Hesston.
We got our old 3000 for free initially, but we've stuck a few hundred here & there in it. We replaced all the teeth in the pick-up head, found an electric motor for the mounted sharpener and the tie-rod assembly for the sharpener to attatch to the knives, replace dthe gathering chains on the corn head, new shear bar, new springs for the feeder rolls, used new band we stole from our other Fox, and a bunch more I've forgetten already. Works pretty good now!!
