awesome i think that did help explain a lot. so more likely his tractor is a 1959? I will have himn look for the raised letters on the tin and see if he can find them. :) great I take it manuals are pretty easy to get for these things, cuz i came acrossed a page of manuals. He is excited to get this thing rolling hahaha. he sold his nice john deere so he could have money to start building a house and came acrossed this tractor for 600.00 so sounds like he got a good deal. Maybe even a collector?? any more info from anyone would be appreciated. thanks a million.. Lee
