Is it gas or diesel? I believe (don"t quote me) that the BIG 500/600/400 and 700/800/900 shared alot of the same parts (not ablsolutly positive on the 500"s). There were more common parts on the gas/diesels on those older units too like the head gaskets. You may have to mix/match parts from other units. The bearings for the 800"s are the same as the 730 thru 870"s for example. I"ve never figured out if you can swap sleeves between the 00 series and the 30 series. Have you looked on the CNH website? Select parts search and type in 500. You may get other things with 500 model # but it should list the tractors too. I"ve also found strolling thru your local salvage yard you can compare parts with each other, be sure to check as many units as possible. (Our local yard doesn"t have any 500/600"s though).
