One last comment on the cracked S-10 dist cap, then I'll put it to rest until something happens later on. It cracked from the top - down from the tower in the two O'clock position while looking at the side of the engine on the passenger side. The crack went about two-thirds of the way down and then stopped. The terminals are silver, I don't know what kind of material that is, but it is silver. The new replacement cap has copper terminals. It kinda leads me to think it's getting splashed on when it's hot, but who knows----. Jim
