I have an old International Farmall Tractor I am working on refurbishing. I am currently working on the electrical system.
First of all, I have had the starter and the generator repaired on the tractor in the last two weeks. Both have been rebuilt. I am curious is there anyway of knowing exactly how to hook up the battery and terminals to the 6 volt battery. I wanted to make sure that all of this was done correctly.
Also, when I hooked up my battery a little bit of smoke was coming off the battery terminal? Is this normal? Could there be a problem in the way I have hooked the system back up. I look forward to hearing everyones comments. If any additional information is needed to help, please feel free to comment back. THANKS A MILLION!
