I'm another with 3 lovely ladies for daughters. Two of them will be 9 on Wednesday and one is 5. No fertility drugs for us. Twins run in my wife's family.
Our household is all about them. We're going to go have fun this weekend as a birthday surprise. Going to an indoor water park and then an amusement park. Its nice being able to do things like that now that they are a little older and we don't have as many bills.
We did something similar for the youngest on her fifth birthday. I'll probably remember her words until the day I die "It's like a dream come true." She said it as the amusement park came into view. I love those kind of moments.
Sometimes its even less dramatic, but the moment sticks with you. Such as when the youngest was feeling left out and I asked her if she would like me to sit down and do an art project with her. That just made her so happy. Even though at the moment I would have rather been in the barn, the time spent with her didn't take me away from anything important(which nothing else much is in comparison) and the reward was much greater than the expense.
