Then older saws do not have as much nickel or however you spell in the cylinders so they do require more oil than the newer ones, becasue the old cylinders just are not as hard as the new ones. I would use a 32:1 mix in WITH a good 2 cycle air cooled engien oil. Not an oil bought from you local Walmart or gas station. You have a vey nice saw there, but parts are almost non existant, so you might want to take care a littel special care of it. Obviousy then bars and chains are common, but the air filters, igntion, other hard parts are hard to find, they were bougth out by Partner, then were bought by Poulan and sold under the Poulan Pro brand for a few years.
