They are tested the exact same way. The difference in power is due to several reasons. Most likely, you are looking at a diesel that has that much power. Diesels will always make more power in a smaller package. If it was a gas, it is much more effieient than the old H, and it's probably running at higher RPM's to get more power. Now, TORQUE is another story. Your big cube engine will out torque and most likely pull the smaller higher HP tractor all over the yard. It all depends on what you want to do. Aaron
