Boy,don't I know how that is. My apendix ruptured 10 years ago. Was in the hospital for 8 days. Fourth nite I woke up in a pool of blood. The infection had burst out through the staples. They ended up sending me home with it packed and open. First time back to the doctor,I told him something was wrong,it felt swollen. He told me I was just getting fat from sitting. I wound up back in the ER in more pain than when it ruptured. They opened me back up and I was filled with infection. Packed me with it open again and sent me home. Took about 3 months to recover as well as I ever will. Between the fever, infection and pharmaceuticals,I have problems with my memory that I'll never get back. Headaches, blood sugar problems. Good part of my life that I just plain don't remember. Hope ya feel better soon. At least you can get on line at the hospital,I couldn't even walk to the nurses station.
