The real answer is to toss the inlaws. Mine used to visit for FOUR WEEKS in July when we lived in a place with a real short summer. I tried to run an exhaust hose in their bedroom but my wife stopped me.
Regarding any fiberglass tub, the next time around use the more-costly "acrylic" tub and problem solved. Second opton was mentioned in an earlier post---
"for a marine cleaner try starbrite fiberglass cleaner ...an excellent job and will get off pretty much any type of stain. apply like car wax."
We used "Starbright" brand rubbing compound (for boats ) and fiberglass cleaner wax. Did an amazing job.
