The Bushogs I've looked at on my dealer's lot all use skip welds and don't appear as heavily built as some of the competitors. I currently use a Landpride RCR 2572. It is OK. I've had it for 10 years and have cut six foot high swamp grass (slowly) and brush up to about 3" and lots of things in between (even a few stones). When I upgrade I'm planning on a John Deere double blade 709. Heavier, more $$$$ but worth it. Look up the specs on each mfg website. Use the "compare" feature if available. I just don't see anything better than Deere BUT I'm talking heavy duty stuff. For example, I wouldn't bother to blow snot at a King Cutter. Some people praise them. Your $$$, your choice.
