As far as the retirement goes, you can make it the beginning of the end if you want to, it's your choice. Personnally I haven't had the time, been too busy with my little farm, helping others with projects, and a little travelling to find out or worry about it. However, I'm not totally retired yet, and may never be at this rate. I still work a couple of days a week designing and building special machines. There's so much new out there to learn that it's totally fascinating to me. I do plan to slow down some more next summer because I'm not getting enough of my own projects done. Best of luck with it. Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
