Hotter, I'll say. Without additive the tractor over heats on 90+ days. With the additive only the loose nut behind the steering wheel does. By the way since when does PRE-ignition add HP? Yes it burns EARLIER, but not nessesarily faster, and sometimes hotter, but preignition will cause elevated temperatures at wierd times. The example is demonstrated by an engine knocking (ping) from preignition, it ain't making peak horsepower. The most is gotten from the engine when the air fuel mix is ignited and burned at the proper time..
