Three months ago, tractor wouldn't start unless you cranked for a long time then not at all. Changed fuel filter and that cured problem. Last week it did it again. Thought it was the injection pump. Found you could manually run the transfer pump and it would start ok but would have a delay in throttle. OK thought pump wore out,6000 hrs. Took it apart and was so full of sticky gooy stuff that it couldn't work. Checked fuel tank and it only dribbled out. Took strainer out and cleaned, drained tank. Was going to take tank off but started on that and too many hyd lines and everything else. Thinking about high pressure washing and vac out. What would you do? Son says this is bacteria. Been around diesel all my life and never seen it like this before.
