K B it is always wise to use a gauge that has twice of what ya need this also makes the gauge more acc. Also over the years they have found out that a blinking lite will cautch the eye faster then a needle on a gauge layen on 0 . The gauge is a good idea BUT i would also keep the lite AND MAKE SURE THAT IT WORKS.
