Pretty sorry crop of teens that apply their imagination and energy to kill someone else's pet or working stock. We keep a couple of spayed cats here for the work they do,our choice is mice, moles, and snakes or cats.I'm not a cat lover, but respect and tolerate them for the work they do.Occasionally I have to kill a tom cat that comes around after these spayed females because they are destructive.Peeing down the cowl vents of my brides Cadillac got one killed recently,it took $145 of cabin air filters to fix that. They've torn up window screens, peed on our doors, been vandals.Animal cruelty penalties are severe,as they should be.I use plenty of gun to make it as humane as possible, and only as a last resort. We start with loud noise, next a Daisy bb gun,a 12 gauge load of #4s or #6s in a situation that make a killing shot certain finally.I get no joy from it.
