I have been a member since early teens. I pay my dues, and support the cause as I deeply believe in my right to own and use firearms. I no longer give extra donations, EVER, and will not ever again unless the NRA starts to promote what they preach in small and big newspapers, public television and make the rounds like the anti's do. I never see them on any channels other than hunting and gun channels, but then I may miss it also. I dont see the sense in running a campaign to save out right, on channels that only people that already believe are watching. I know most of the money goes to lobbying, but I also do not beleive that NBC< ABC< FOX< CBS, and all the other cable channels wont give the NRA a slot.Constantly sending me letters for more money is not what I want my orginization to do, I want them to send letters to those that dont know the issues, put more money and effort into take a kid hunting programs and such to get those not exposed to proper gun use and hunting, exposed to it the right way, rather than from some thug, or an anti gun nutt. Yes I said NUTT! If I seen informational NRA on the channels everyone watches and in the papers everyone reads. I would donate as much as we give to our church. Now I will finish with I am glad the NRA is there to fight for us at the capitol, but not all is being done that can be, to gain members and increase the knowledge of our right to bear arms.

But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener.
