You are welcome to use my jig if you live near NE IA, no charge. It is a tripod with big slotted chanel iron, and big all treaded bolts that go under the rim. It has a large cone in the center to center the wheel. A lomg 1/4 inch rod adjusts outward to the outer edge of your spokes with a washer attatched to hold the cutting torch tip, thus a perfect circle / fit.
The old guys told me that you weld every spoke except the last one, then take a break / let it cool down, then weld the last one, otherwise the weldes will break.
Sorry, I could not explain it better. I purchased it at a auction thirty years ago, and was advised it was a dozen different things after I purchased it. I purchased it very cheap, and was a factory machine.
