John, A hammer is alot more of a personal item than a tractor manual. I have a hammer that belonged to my great-great grandfathers father. I look at it every day and the memories flood over me. There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
