I worked for a company that had several dodge/ford/chevy diesels. You are right when you say the dodges fall apart,except the engine. These trucks were driven by the co owners, NOT abused. They made a mistake and bought 2006's, at 60000 miles we replaced the trans-6 speeds in most of them. The fords we had spent more time being towd in than any other brand. With the 100's of thousands of miles put on these trucks the GM's cost far less to operate and maintain.
