Just wanted to share the news with my extended family on here. A friend of a friend gave her my number and we talked for nearly a week before meeting last Friday night. We hit it off instantly and both of us felt like we"d known each other all our lives. We did a lot of talking...and a little loving... over the next several days and both of us knew, without a doubt, that it was meant to be. I"m hitting 40 first of the year and she"s 36 and has a beautiful, soon to be 5 year old little girl. Veronica is a beauty no doubt but her little girl is a blue eyed, blond haired, heart breaker. Anyway I bought a ring Wednesday and proposed on Wednesday night as we were heading out to dinner. There was no doubt in my mind or her"s about us being together for the rest of our lives so naturally she said YES. So far the responses we"ve gotten to our engagement have all been all positive, with the main one being, for the both of us, "It"s about time you were finally happy, you deserve it"....even from her Father...although he did give me the YOU BETTER TREAT HER RIGHT speach with the emphasis being on the little girl and not her mom.... Crazy after only 5 days, maybe, but I know in my heart it"s right and right now I"ve been smiling for 7 days straight and smiling even bigger since Wed night. I"m the happiest man in the world.
