I agree with RobMD. The issue is control of the second tractor. Shifting, throttle, clutch and the servos needed to make it work. There are tripple articulated tractors. The tractors must also pivot to a 20 degree angle with, for instance, one wheel up on a one foot high stump with the other three still on the ground. We pulled a heavy grader in clay with two Ms. hooked together (simple removal of the lower bolster and a frame to hitch it to the reinforced U drawbar of the front M. We used two drivers just to get a job done without drastic handling issues. We also (with little success) put a platform on the front of a SH to push a M with picker through mud. The weight of the platform and H on the rear of the picker was worse than a wagon. JimN
