overpriced maybe--- but that old cub will be around much longer than the new models. Look at the frame strengh and way they are built. Don't worry about "only" 14 hp The older K series Kohlors pulled very well for their size. I did however lay out $1100 for a new in box engine two seasons ago. NO regrets and figure that I will wear out this motor too in this tractor. LOTS of hours and fun had on this one. Still looks good.

I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned.
