I was digging a few post holes yesterday [ BY HAND } where I could`nt put the tractor even though it was right beside a lane . I run into this problem every so often here with all the hills, hollers and ditches , just cant quite get there . Well my little pee brain got to workin and I think this would work . I`ve got a old 480 case backhoe and was thinking that a guy could take the rear bucket off and mount a Hydraulic drive self leveling digger on the boom like they put on skidsteers . Power it from the lines that generaly run the bucket . Set up , reach out pull the bucket lever and dig a hole . The big question is are the hydralics right to do what I`m thinking about or should I just ask santa for some new hand diggers ??
