I wonder if a rental outfit would have a portable A-frame hoist. I've seen them before. Lifting it up and having to move it around to get it in position, I'd be really worried about the loader creeping down or worse, a hydraulic failure. I used an engine hoist and my skid steer to move it, to pull and replace the engine and tranny in my Cat. The engine hoist gave me precise adjustments which made it a lot easier. Being that you have a lot more ackward placement to get it into, it would be good to use a real safe method to do it. I wonder if you could hire a service truck from a heavy equipment repair outfit with the crane on the side? Might cost a couple hundred bucks but would make your job a lot easier. Good luck. Dave
