Can't say it was a narrow front end or even wheeled but it got my attention. Was building logging roads with a Allis-Chalmers 12G, 25 tons of tracked loader, about 25 years ago. Boss had sent me early one morning with the 12G on a lowboy to get the job started. To get a crawler off a lowboy, you stage some heavy timbers on the shoulder of the road twist the crawler 90 degrees and drive onto the staging. That morning the wooden deck was damp and the road had some crown so when I moved the machine it slid sideways off the lowboy and dropped the right track about 6" onto the staging. It then drove the staging down into the ground about a foot, so the right side of the crawler has dropped about 18 inches and the lowboy springs rebounded a little and over she went. Shut the engine down and had an 2 hour drive to get another piece of equipment to get her back on her feet. Got the shakes about 15 minutes into the drive and had pretty much got over them by the time I got to the shop. Lee
