I"m usually pretty open to other"s views, but this one hits close to home. We"ve been growing trees since the late sixties, with the third generation taking a part in the daily activities. The farm has been in our family since the 1830"s, and this keeps it off auction block. We"ve had literally hundreds of kids and young guys work here in the past, and many stop back at harvest to help out, bringing their kids. I"m not saying that artificial trees don"t have their place in the world, but I"m positive I"ve done it the right way for a long time now, and haven"t lined the coffers of foreign competition with my renewable resource.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
