For years, I used to just grab a tree and some extra boughs. Used a spade bit and drilled holes in the trunk . Whittled the boughs down and plugged them in.Sap will act as a glue and you can't hardly pull them out. Always had a great looking tree that way and didn't pay an arm and a leg for a select tree. My grabbin and pluggin days are over. The wife bought a plastic tree last year.Smeller quit workin so I don't miss havin a real tree.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
