I use a back blade on my Super C. It has the advantage over a box blade in that it can be angled to spill out to the side. Mine can be offset to either side and can also be tilted, and can be reversed for pushing back instead of pulling forward. Pretty handy. A box blade could work okay if your layout allows for straight pushes over short runs. Otherwise, I'd suspect a back blade would work better.
For chains, I use double ring cross chains. Their design makes them self cleaning and, even when tight, they wiggle enough to help keep the tire tread cleaner in sticky snow and mud. They work well in my situation, but I wouldn't recommend them if you have a lot of ice right on the ground. In that case, something with a cleat on it will serve you better.
