Having bought at auctions for a living some years back Ive seen that done and its disgusting. Tell you this from years of experience, say a guy walks up to you as youre lookin at a vehicle n tells you "Stay away from that thing, has a rod or engine or some other serious problem posing like he knew the owner or was familair with the vehicle WHEN THAT ITEM IS AUCTIONED HES HID IN THE BACK BIDDING ON IT LOL
Had a guy walk up to me at an auction n say boy you dont want that darn truck listen how bad it misses......same thing he was hid in back bidding on it like crazy.........I bought it and nosed arrund n discovered (what I already suspected) half the plug wires had been switched to the wrong cap towers,,,,,,,,,,fixed that n she ran PERFECT

While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery.
