In the 50's it seemed like about every 10th farmer had fingers missing from corn picker mishaps. They just did not want to shut those things down to unplug them. Silage blowers occaisionally got a little meat in their diet too. One of our neighbors in the early 70's got a big self propelled forage harvester. He got off one time to make some sort of adjustment and it ate him. His son found him, and the old man was able to tell him how to take what apart to get him out of there. Most of him lived but he was missing a few parts afterward.

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
