mounted corn picker is one machine I have never ran.Not because I didnt want to but because Dad wouldnt let me,he too pointed out the men who had gotten hurt and often repeated the slogan"be carefull this machine is quicker than you are"To show me he held a corn stalk next to the picker where the shield would catch his arm,bang corn stalk gone and his hand hit the machine,point I took well,I like my fingers when a haybine plugs up I shut off the tractor have seen a couple clutches fail figuered my luck it would happen while I had my head in the rolls.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
