I have a friend with a S3 Field Marshall that i did some engine work on. (long story). It starts very easily with the crank, as long as you use the lighting papers. He never uses the cartridge starting and as far as I know this tractor has never been started that way. Has been in his family all it's life. There is a "guru" in Australia here who can supply parts etc. His name escapes me but I can find out. Leave a post if you need any further info. God Bless, Rex
