My neighbor uses a Cub, takes him an hour and a half to clear his driveway with it. I don't know how he has the patience. I use a Case 'DO'. Its about the same footprint and age as an 8N, but double the weight and power.
Since you aren't looking at removing a lot of snow it probably doesn't matter what you buy as long and you like it. In the latest issue of 'Antique Power' there is an article about a guy who restored an F12 and uses that to plow his driveway. Since it sounds like you want something unusual, get what you want. I recommend a Case 'D', because they are a tank of a tractor and are relatively uncommon, but I'm biased...
