Now Dan9-Midwest, I appreciate the fact that you made the effort to provide me with any info at all, even if it doesn`t apply to my tractor as you so aptly stated when you noted that it is not related to the 8000 or 9000, and that in fact my Ford/Shibura tractor has a small Japanese engine, but didn`t it occur to you that a normal person would not expose themselves to unnecessary internet sniping by asking a question that could easily be answered by reading the manual?
I would not have put myself in that position without a good reason, the first being that I did read the manual and did not recall ever seeing this procedure mentioned, second, I was at work when I posted, thus the manual was not at my fingertips for my review, and third, when I got home and read pages 30-52 of the factory manual, the Lubrication and Maintenance section, found that not only is it not mentioned, it`s not even alluded to nor is there a capacity listed for the injector pump lubricant as there is for every other fluid in this machine.
Thanks again for the help............and the dose of attitude you tried to dump on me. In the end though you only made yourself look stupid, or crabby at best.
