I did it a few years back so I don't know how it's done now. At that time I had a map that had the phone numbers of the different port of entries on it. I called the one where we were going to bring it in and they said to have a bill of sale for it. If it was originally made in the USA there was no duties on it. When I took it acroors the border, the guy at the gate called me in to talk to me. I thought oh-oh. He wanted to talk tractors with me. Told me where there was some nice collections along the way and told me which roads to take to make the trip easier. Then he checked the serial number on the bill of sale with the number on the tractor and said we were good to go.
