When I started my project, I looked far and wide for the best deal on a rebuildable MF50. I travelled 300 miles to pick up a 65. I passed on a deal on a 50 that was more money, but just down the street.
It cost me $500 bucks to get the 65 home. And it turned out that the one that the 50 had a recent rebuild. There is another $1500. I cheaped out on the initial investment and cost myself $2000 bucks and had to settle for a model different than what I was looking for.
The fella that bought the 50 is using the heck out of it.
I think ya did fine. Be sure to post pics when you get started cause we are gonna compare them to the finished product.
