Old, I have been arguing with AT&T since September over a credit that was not given to my mother. After talking to about a half dozen different reps. and getting that many different versions and instructions of what to do, I called Attorney General's consumer line and was told to file a complaint with the FCC.
I called FCC fairly early one morning and Surprise, a real person answered the phone and was very helpful. I did file a complaint over the internet, and it was very easy. I fired AT&T as Mom's long distance provider, and a little later, the credit issue has been resolved. Now, my mom is getting calls from a rep. wanting to discuss my compliant to FCC. They call and leave a message on my Mom's phone. She no longer lives at home. I have returned the call several times over the last week, but the rep. is never at her desk. I am not really interseted in talking with her, but I will so I can educate her as to why I am discovering that more and more people are not happy with their service and business practices. I will not drop my grievence unless they compensate me for all the time and trouble that I have taken to do their job for them.
