It's quiet now here in western Indiana on Christmas Eve, the candles in the house and the tree and luminaries are lit and burning brightly and the lighted wreaths on the house and barn look good on this cold winter night. The tools are put up for tonight and tomorrow and all is quiet there too. We'll go to the church soon for some quiet meditation and reflection and then return to get a good night's rest before all the kids and grandkids come crashing in tomorrow for a good day together. Christmas in the country is beautiful for those fortunate of us who live here. I wish all of my country (and city) brothers and sisters the merriest of Christmases and Happy New Year. Think about our gallant men and women in the military tonight and wish them well. Peace to all.
