It all depends on what you plan to do with it. If your going to use it on the farm I would go with the one that has a starter. But if its for show I would go with the hand start. My self I had no choice on the D I hope to pick up Saturday its a hand start and the first one I have seen so I sort of got lucky when I found it. My wife has warned me if she likes it she will want it as her tractor
