Was told on the ford board that it was from an old WWII ford aircraft tug, used for ballast, one solid piece of cast iron. I remember it in the back at our ford dealership when I was a kid, it ended up at our farm, where it sat for 30 years or so, I had the same problem when I tried using the 850 in snow, so remembering where it was in the weeds, neighbors did not help themselves to it like they did everything else, probably too heavy to pick for scrap. Now it goes on in the fall and off in the spring, really makes a big difference on traction, I've not had to use chains, tires are loaded too.
