Whee! We got about 2 inches of rain! Water stod behind terraces, streams have more water in them, and I had to fight mud to move a hay ring to a new place today. This has been the dryest year since 1931. '31 was probably hotter. My mother talked about hot dry weather in the 1930s. Rainfall is something like 20 inches below normal. Normal was reported as being 55 inches, but I think it's less. Also supposed to be cold the rest of the week, like lows in the 20's. I know that's not cold for farther North, but It's cold enough for me. I have seen it -10, however.
