What if the poor fella's car broke down, he was outside working on it in an area that hasn't got a cell tower for service, and as he bent over under the hood, an avalanche rolled down the mountain, and he's kind of smashed under the hood thinking, "Old knew I was comin', and I sure wouldn't mind if since he knew I was comin', he'd come take a look see to see why I aint comin'". Now, doesn't that put a whole different light on all of those times you drove by that big pile of snow off to the side of the road with them boots sticking out of it, and what sounds like someone yelling "Helmmmmmmmm!!! Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
