John, A buddy of mine just traded for an 08 Dodge Mega-Cab, 4x4, 5.7 Hemi gas/w the Lifetime Warrenty! He has 3000 miles on it as of last Friday, it is getting Hi 15s on it so far, also it is setting on 8 hole wheels on 16 in tires. It is a very impressive truck. OBTW He choose the 1/2t to over the 3/4t because there is only 600lbs of carring wt difference between the two. That translates to a set of overload springs! The Mega-Cab trucks 1/2, 3/4, & 1ts are all built on the same jigs, frame, springs and the like. So he is basically getting a 3/4 t truck for a 1/2 t price. Go look At a Mega-Cab You will be impressed, I was and I am Ford to the Core, to a Fault. This Lifetime warrenty is not something to sneeze at it has real teeth to it. He also picked up a second warrenty to cover what the Dodge warrenty doesn't, it cover stuff like wiper blades, light bulbs and other small things. His is the SLT and got it in the neighborhood of 28k, he had 2 rival dealers Crapping all over themselves to make this deal, One dealer guarentees to be lower or he will cut you a $2000 check. So far it looks like he will be getting a check. Hope this helps, Later, John A.

Today's Featured Article - 12-Volt Conversions for 4-Cylinder Ford 2000 & 4000 Tractors - by Tommy Duvall. After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
