Here goes, my name is Mathias, live about 45 min East of Rochester, NY. I enjoy working on farm equipment, but realized in high school that I didn't have the patience to do that for a living. So instead, I have a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and work as the Quality Manager for a machine shop. We make Teflon seals for customers like Caterpillar and Allison Transmission.
I grew up on a small farm. We sold apples, peaches, blueberries, rasberries, strawberries, etc at local farm markets. This past summer my wife and I started our own farm. We sell fresh cut and dried flower arrangements, also at the farmers markets.
I collect and restore vintage chainsaws, Scorpion snowmobiles, and vintage tractors. Last year I particiapted to my first tractor pull and am hooked. This site has been pretty helpful in figuring out my tractor related questions.

Today's Featured Article - Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
